The title of this blog comes from a line in the pilot episode of Fringe when Walter Bishop, after watching Spongebob Squarepants for the first time, calls it "surprisingly profound for a narrative about a sponge." I don't live in a pineapple under the sea, but I do like to think I'm fairly absorbent.
